This role comes with a great responsibility on both Test Automation & strategy side of things. Testing been done by developers till date needs a makeover and you will create a pure Testing mindset for the entire business.
From day one you will spend time setting up the QA strategy, test automation framework, preferably, using Selenium WebDriver C# Nunit. You are more than welcome to suggest any other tech stack, but this would need solid convincing to the board members ?? While there is an in-house manual QA, you would be expected to carry out a small amount of manual testing. As you go on setting up the test framework, you will also look after resource management and adding new team members to the function.
What are we looking for?
- An experienced automation QA acting as a senior/Lead
- Proficient building test automation frameworks using Selenium C#/Java
- Demonstrable experience leading OR mentoring junior team members
- Prior experience OR interest in setting up test strategy for a mid-size business
