Lead Power Engineer

Posted 25 January by ISL Recruitment
Role: Lead Power Engineer

Salary: Up to £65,000 depending on experience

The Oxford Dictionary defines an Engineer as an 'originator'. Someone at the forefront of emerging technologies, and what technology had a wider reaching effect than the car?

So, when the company that invented the car is investing £8billion in a new technology, maybe it's time to take notice?

The average increase of Electric car registration is 27% across England, with a staggering 35% increase across Wales.

Government climate change experts recently advised that the majority of cars should be electric by 2030 and the Government has announced plans to phase out the sale of petrol and Diesel by 2040.

It would seem it's not time to reinvent the wheel, it's time to reinvent the engine.

So, how would you like the opportunity to work with a company that saw this potential a decade ago, and are leading the way in a new type of Axial Engine? Their success can be seen in their growth, now 100 strong and located over two sites.

As you can imagine, revolutionary technology requires top Engineers, and they have built their team based on this idea. Do you feel you could fit in to this environment?

Along with the satisfaction of making a real difference, you will also get a whole host of other bonuses:

*Competitive Salary
*25 days' holiday
*5.5% pension contribution
*On-site gym
*Private medical plan
*4 x death in service
