The Lead PHP Developer/Development Manager will work closely alongside our current Development Director to specify project requirements and manage the development and delivery of secure and reliable web applications. This role will also see the successful candidate help to build and manage a small development team while playing a key part in developing the business’s next generation of software. This really is a fantastic time to join the company during an exciting stage of growth and you will be given full autonomy not only within the scope of your own role but also to shape and support the team moving forward with plenty of career progression opportunities available for the right person.
Initially the role will be office based whilst within the design stage, but you will have the option of remote working once the development stage begins and a development team is in place. We anticipate the role to be office based for at least the first three months of employment.
Ideally you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Project management
- Team Leading or management of a team
- Extensive PHP experience using Object-Oriented Programming methodology
- An understanding of Linux Server Management
- Existing knowledge of Google Ads & Google Merchant Center would also be desirable, but not essential
