Lead Residential Night Support Worker needed in Brighton to support Young Adults with Learning Disabilities

Hays Social Care works closely with a number local authorities, community projects, residential care homes, home care operations and child care centres to provide them with all of their staffing needs. Your new role
In your support work job you will enjoy working with and helping Young Adults with Learning Disabilities. You provide support to individuals and their families who need help, both emotionally and practically, so they can live a happy, comfortable, and independent life.
As a senior support worker you will be guided by higher management, but you will be expected to 'lead' shifts independently. Key duties can include record keeping in accordance with legislation and regulations, administration and recording of medication and leading on specialist support techniques. The Senior Support worker will also be required to provide guidance and leadership to less experienced members of the team.
What you'll need to succeed
In addition to a caring, patient and helpful nature you will you will need extensive experience in a social care management/team leading role, and/or relevant qualifications for the role e.g. NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care. You'll also be flexible with working hours and happy to work a variety of shifts in order to meet service user's requirements
