We have partnered with a well established SME, which delivers bespoke software products, batteries and embedded hardware from scratch. They have a historic relationship with some of the biggest media and film brands in the industry. Based in South Wales currently building a brand n

You will be the 'lead', heading up a brand new team, specially geared towards a brand new product release for 2022. This product will open multiple doors with their current customer base and worldwide.

You ideally will have a passion for delivery high quality code, with experience in a TDD environment. Mentoring and guiding this team will be a intrinsic to the success of the team and product, previous examples of developing & mentoring other software engineers will bode well within this interview process.

You can work completely remotely if you like, they are based in Cardiff, if you'd to come into the office you are more then welcome.

You'll be granted with a personal development fund, where you purchase anything to improve your skills. 5 % Pension contribution, unbelievable share scheme options and complete remote working.

Requirements

  • Strong Java skills
  • Proven track record leading projects, delivery complex clean code
  • Comfortable within entire software development lifecycle

Interview process

  • 1st stage - 30 minute video call
  • 2nd Stage - Technical interview video call (Live collaborative exercise 1hr 30 minute)

Salary - £50,000-£60,000
