Lead Global Payroll Specialist

Fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Supervisor or Payroll Manager to join a global organisation based in Glasgow City Centre. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a Supervisory role managing payrolls across the UK, ideally across multiple countries.

The main duties:

  • Managing, mentoring and coaching a team of payroll specialists
  • Overseeing the UK and Global payroll processes ensuring deadlines are met
  • Resolve technical queries escalated by the Payroll Specialists
  • Identify and escalate potential issues to the Global Payroll Manager
  • Act as key contact for technical UK and Global Payroll queries
  • Identify opportunities and make recommendations in support of process improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the team

The main requirements:

  • Previous Payroll Supervisory experience is essential
  • High volume payroll experience is essential
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive experience of mentoring
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Strong experience of payroll reconciliation
  • Process oriented
