Lead Shift Engineer - Salary up to 37K

1: Apply all objectives associated with 'Multi Skilled Maintenace Technician' in addition to those detailed below.

2: Conduct technical investigations into plant assets to identify critical process area improvements. i.e. bottlenecks, failure points etc.

3: Present technical reports to Head of Engineering detailing process issues and justified recommendations for modification.

4: Keep up to date regarding latest innovations and technology that can be applied to the process.

5: Provide in-depth technical training on any modifications/improvements to all relevant personnel.

6: Create and issue technical documentation for any modifications/improvements implemented. Ensure current technical library is updated with latest versions.

7: Liase with machinery Head of Engineering and Health and Safety Manager to ensure new assets/planned modifications meet company expectations and specifications.

8: Attend regular update meetings with Head of Engineering to feedback on all current engineering issues.

9: Develop engineers skill levels and identify areas for improvements.

10: Provide out of hours engineering assistance as required.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician Salary up to 35k

1: Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain all company assets, ensuring maximum operating efficiency.

2: Troubleshooting and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to plc's, drives, motors, gearboxes, valves and burners.

3: Start up and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown.

4: Analyse circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service or replace electrical devices and systems.

5: Pro-actively investigate asset overhaul/continuous improvement of assets.

6: Conduct emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform planned preventative maintenance of production equipment.

7: Fabricate parts if not readily available, using available components and machinery.

8: Work safely at all times and provide leadership to others regarding operating procedures and requirements for working safely with plant assets.

9: Inform management of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved.

10: Effectively use equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

11: Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.

12: Identify and resolve any defective operations, materials or processes and report those to management.
