The main purpose of the role
Undertake daily jobs to completion following current policies and procedures.
Ensure the compliant delivery and safety conscious supervision of all delegated HPS work including gas related and associated work from inception through to handover to ensure resident satisfaction and quality assurance.
Participate in a single business based approach offering flexibility when business needs demand and offer assistance to other HPS team members wherever possible.
Support, develop and upskill team members and mentor the HPS apprentices.
Participate and lead as required at team meetings & toolbox talks.
Support, develop and upskill team members.
Lead on complaints.
Manage all aspects of Health and Safety for all projects and liaise with both the CDMC and HPS Quality Health and Safety Team.
Complete health and safety audits as required.
Carry out pre and post inspection of works as required
Instruct and co-ordinate sub-contractors, suppliers and directly employed operatives, providing challenge where appropriate to deliver continual improvement.
Work directly with all members of the HPS service teams, including Electrical, Gas, Refurbishment and Cyclical works, Responsive Repairs, voids and Grounds, to ensure a joined up approach and that resources are co-ordinated to achieve value for money in the works being undertaken.
Assist when required and provide detailed reporting for inclusion in contractual monthly client and internal reports as required.
Work with the Production Team Leaders and Contracts Managers to undertake investigations in relation to Health and Safety incidents or breaches of discipline in relation to policies or procedures.
Challenge working processes to achieve greater efficiencies, demonstrating better value for money through knowledge and data.
Assist Production Team Leaders to complete trade staff one to one meetings.
Participate in the Duty Managers' out of hours service delivery on a rota basis ensuring issues are responded to promptly and an efficient service is delivered to customers.
Ensure personal conduct promotes the positive image of the company to help secure future enquiries and orders.

Compliance statutory and regulatory requirements.
Ideally you will come from a social housing, local authority/public sector or contractor background.
Minimum of 5 year's experience.
Full driving licence with the ability to work in the Kent area.
Have the following qualifications; ACS, CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT1, CPA1
