Lead Developer

This hugely successful digital agency in Leeds has a new requirement for a Lead Developer with strong .NET skills to join their large team.

To be considered you should have at least 5 years web development experience using the Microsoft stack and you should ideally be MCSD qualified in web applications development (not essential but could put you ahead of the pack!).

You should have a strong track record in developing enterprise-level web applications and you should have solid CMS experience (ideally Episerver, although we will also consider people with Umbraco or Sitecore experience). If you haven't used it before, you will be encouraged to gain Episerver certification.

As well as strong C# skills you should have also have excellent database skills using SQL Server, and Javascript frameworks are essential (jQuery, but ideally Angular, React, Dojo or Knockout).

You should already be working at Senior Developer or Lead Developer level and you should have good people management or mentoring experience.

Your role will be to lead teams working on big projects for major clients, ensuring best practice is observed, and helping the Development Manager achieve the company's goals.

To be considered you should be a good team player capable of leading by example and inspiring your colleagues to produce great work. You should always be keeping an eye on new technologies, to advise if there are new tools which could be of benefit to the business.
