So, is the Microsoft stack your thing ? Do you enjoy building and working with complex data centric applications, involving data collection and data analysis solutions ?
My client creates and consumes huge amounts of data that they do some wizzy things with to add and return value to their own business and their clients.
You will work as the Lead Developer in a small specialist team with a couple of mid-weight, bright, enthusiastic data developers and data analysts. Mentor, not Manager.
Whilst they use lots of technologies to develop solutions for different platforms & devices (Think Android and Azure etc.) what they need now is somebody who has experience of managing and developing solutions in the Microsoft Ecosystem - currently growing around C# ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, but you will shape and direct where they go with Microsoft.
They are doing plenty of Agile and use tools such as Visual Studio Team Services, MS Project, Jira and Team Foundation Server to support delivery. But maybe you think they could do it better. That's fine, that is what they want from you.
The usual bit around strong written & spoken communication skills, smart presentation and delivery focused mentality are fundamental personal qualities.
