Our eCom Solutions Engineering team has created a single centre of excellence for delivering the very best eCom products. Based on the needs of our customers and requirements from product management, our eCom Solutions Engineering function guarantees the most effective and efficient delivery of innovations for Worldpay Group, ensuring requirements rationalisation, effective platform ownership and timely delivery.
How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
As a Lead Business Analyst, you will be responsible for business analysis and related activities to support projects across our portfolio, as well as provide day-to-day mentorship to a small team of business analysts. You will be responsible for leading, motivating and developing the team, setting objectives and supporting team members in achieving them. You will develop a portfolio/initiative level view of projects and help to manage the pipeline of work coming in to the business analysis team.
Working closely with product managers and product owners, you will support the business helping to turn visions into reality through high-quality analysis. You will be responsible for backlog creation, ownership and refinement, producing "as-is" and gap analysis to support decision making, as well as support test planning and execution for projects. You will work closely and collaboratively with agile development teams, provide information to support the production of project RACI matrix, provide information to support the production of operating model and work with third-parties to gather technical documentation and integration specifications. You will also support service transition processes and handover to support teams, provide input into post implementation reviews and ensure lessons learnt are built into processes going forward.
What will make you the ideal candidate?
You will have extensive business analysis experience in a complex technology environment and experience with the end to end project lifecycle. You'll have deep Agile experience, ideally with Scrum, Kanban and SaFe. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build good relationships are key to the success in this role, as well as extensive experience with requirements analysis and high quality documentation. You'll have good problem solving and presentation skills, and the ability to adapt to and embrace change.
