Tria Recruitment are very pleased to be appointed as the exclusive sourcing partner with a progressive organisation that are going through a long-term transformation programme that is facilitating change throughout all departments & levels.

To meet ongoing growth, our client is looking a Lead Business Analyst, to help facilitate the delivery of multifaceted projects and/or products across a large & complex organisation with stakeholders at all levels of seniority and working between many different departments. As a Lead Business Analyst within the IT department, you will be utilising both Agile & Waterfall methodologies with an emphasis to move more into an Agile environment as time moves on and will provide that vital bridge between technology and the business needs. As the Lead B/A, you will also guide & mentor the B/As within their team and this role will initially be 20 months FTC with a genuine scope to go permanent.

This opportunity has a flexible approach to work life balance, where you will split between the London offices and working remotely from home circa 2 days, each week.

The Lead Business Analyst is business-critical role accountable for strategic developments of the BA function to support the organisations wider operational process transformation. You will lead a team of highly skilled BAs and you will be an expert in business requirement gathering approach under agile and waterfall methodologies. You will define the framework and standards required to develop a centre of excellence for business and product analysis. As a senior manager, you will develop BA capability strategy, inputting a best structure, coach and mentor a high performing team of Business Analysts.

Experience required:

  • Must currently be a Senior B/A or a Lead B/A
  • Proven Background in Business Analysis within large and/or complex organisation/s
  • Digital & IT Project/Product environments
  • Business Change across various departments, including but not limited to IT
  • Senior stakeholder management & engagement & mapping
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work remotely whilst still building strong internal relationships is essential.

Previous experience of working in a structured environment would be beneficial coupled with a project management qualification (Prince 2, MSP or similar)

Based within a small and agile team - on occasion you will need to roll up your sleeve to support your business analysts and product owners/managers. It is important that you have experience of whole project and product lifecycle and have a strong grasp of the big picture to support your team. Perhaps most importantly, you'll be able to outline problems to stakeholders across faculties, academics and developers, some of whom are non-technical and then help resolve the challenges.

This fixed term contract offers a salary of up to £60k. The holidays are a total of 41 days :- 30 days standard + Christmas shutdown (min of 3 days) + 8 days bank holiday + generous pension and flexibility on working from home as well with a hybrid model of 3/2 as a general guide.
