Your new role
Reporting into the Audit Manager you will be responsible for providing the organisation with a robust audit service, managing a team of up to 3 auditors.
You will contribute to the delivery of the annual assurance & risk programme across the firm carrying out internal audits and reviews to monitor and report upon compliance to internal procedures, regulatory and best practice standards, and areas of risk.
You will work with the Audit Manager ensuring fee earners are prepared for the ISO 9001:2015 external assessment process. Across the business you will provide written reports recommending improvements, follow up on remedial actions & catalogue trends throughout the organisation feeding into the excellence and improvement program.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be experienced designing & conducting independent internal & file audits across a range of procedures, processes, regulatory standards and quality management systems. In addition you will have a proven track record of managing teams in accordance with a performance management framework, building & developing team members skills & capabilities.
You will need a broad understanding of core business processes & be experienced conducting assessments against business excellence frameworks. You will need to be able to think creatively, be self motivated, as well as motivating a team through inspiration & leading from the front. In addition will have successfully completed a Lead Auditors course in ISO 9001:2015 (or previous version)
