The Lead Analyst will deliver day to day operational and tactical aspects of test projects on behalf of clients, internal improvements or other change projects that impact the department. Working for a Team Leader and Project Manager, the role will support effective management and control of multiple test activities, providing management of change across his areas of responsibility. The Lead Analyst is expected to understand all aspects of the test life cycle through to deployment.The Lead Analyst will be responsible for ensuring adherence to test governance and will be actively involved in delivery of the test strategy for the project and will write test plans and test cases. The Lead Analyst will provide hands on testing within the group and the role holder therefore needs to be IT literate. Experience in writing plans and testing of hard copy output is essential.The Lead Analyst will input into test estimates, and will also accurately report progress and test metrics. At the completion of the Test phase, the Lead Analyst ensures that all exit documentation is in place and appropriately archived and will then support the UAT and go-live phases.
This person will have excellent attention to detail with an ability to communicate and work at all levels. You will be a team player with drive, energy and enthusiasm for the role whilst remaining self-managed and disciplined. The lead analyst will be responsible for keeping appropriate people informed at all times so excellent communication skills are key.
