Your new role
Working within a small department, you will be teaching Law to A Level standard. You will be delivering lessons which encourage debate and challenge for your students, whilst also ensuring students are on task and making progress. You may also be asked to undertake some lessons in other subjects on an ad-hoc basis.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a proven track record of teaching Law up to A Level standard. You will need to be able to effectively plan, prepare and deliver challenging lessons, as well as deliver constructive feedback to students, parents and staff. As this is a small department, you will be expected to take a lead on various schemes of work and report back to the senior leadership team as necessary.
