Job Title: Laundry Assistant - Part Time

Location: Green Park, Warrington, Cheshire

Contract: 30 hours

Pay £7.83 ph

What you’ll be doing

You will ensure that Orchard Care Home’s high standards are met within the Laundry service. By prioritising your workload, you will be part of a team which works hard to provide an efficient and effective service for all residents and visitors.

Where you will be working

Green Park

A bright and spacious home designed to support 103 residents needing residential, nursing and more specialist dementia care, with a recently opened 18-bed Dementia Unit.

What you’ll need

Experience of Health & Safety

Experience of COSHH

Ability to complete paperwork

Basic sewing skills

Values and commitment:

Be polite, friendly, warm and supportive to residents, manager, staff and visitors.

Enjoy a busy environment

Ability to communicate with people and be interested in their needs

Reliable and punctual

Eager to complete all training relevant to your role.


Understanding of central heating systems, laundry equipment and hot & cold water systems

Knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations.
