A leading national law firm are looking for a Large Loss Personal Injury Claims Lawyer to join their Claims team in London. This firm is a top 50 law firm with offices throughout the UK. Your new role
This national Large Loss team provides an expert, experienced legal service dealing with claims involving injuries of the utmost severity and more complex technical insurance work. The firm's Large Loss team handles claims reserved at a minimum of £500,000, representing around £750 million of client reserves. The majority of claims they deal with are motor, but they also cover employers' liability, public liability and product liability, as well as substantial dependency fatality claims. Typical cases involve brain, spinal and amputation injuries. The role is a FTC contract for 12 months.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need strong academics (2.1 or higher degree) or equivalent. The team are looking for a qualified solicitor with 4-5 year's PQE, experience of high value defendant personal injury litigation work (EL/PL/RTA/OLA), ability to work to deadlines and targets and work under pressure, ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative, knowledge of CPR procedures/technical ability.
