Role: Land Survey/ Hydrographic Survey - (Applications Engineering)

Location: Lancashire area

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000

If so I want to speak to you today, as I have the responsibility of finding the ideal option for this growing, friendly team. The main emphasis of the role will be to design and test applications, to ultimately improve and enhance the companies leading products.

Essential Skills:

*Experience as a land or hydrographic surveyor
*Understanding of land or hydrographic survey principles
*Excellent computer literacy, including working experience of Microsoft Office
*Excellent attention to detail, quality and safety
*Able to manage own time and deliver to tight deadlines
*Competent in Maths and English
*Commitment to learning new skills and technology
*A degree or equivalent qualification (relevant experience analogous to degree-level education would count as an equivalent qualification) in Geodetic Engineering

Desirable skills

*Experience of any industry-standard survey software package
*Experience in writing and testing software applications for embedded systems preferably in ANSI C or C++
*Experience using Git - helpful but not a requirement
*Experience using Visual Studio 2013/2015 - helpful but not a requirement
*Clean driving license - helpful but not a requirement
