LAH Home Scheme Manager based at Middlesbrough
Permanent - Full Time - 37 hours per week.
MHA is looking to appoint a new Scheme Manager at Middlesbrough Live at Home Scheme.This is a full time position, working 37 hours a week on a permanent contract.
The Live at Home Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the Middlesbrough Live at Home Scheme to meet the needs of older people within the local community.This scheme operates across a number of sites within the area and provides a range of services that include social groups, a lunch group and a befriending service as well as signposting to other services and monthly excursions.
It's a rewarding and varied job with a wide range of responsibilities.With the support of the dedicated local committee you will market and promote the Scheme and also produce business and fundraising plans and an annual scheme budget.However the job isn't all office based as at times you may need to be hands on supporting members and volunteers at activities.The post requires an individual with a range of business and operational skills, but critically who possesses a strong drive to deliver high quality services that reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness and promote the wellbeing of older people.A current driving license and access to a car for work is essential due to the travel required in the post - and ideally you will have experience in a similar role.
You will be responsible for line managing a small team of part time staff.Volunteers are crucial to the successful operating of any MHA Live at Home Scheme and the Scheme Manager will also be responsible for the recruitment and selection and on-going support and supervision of all volunteers.
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
