You will have the responsibility of having a caseload of looked after children and care leavers residing in foster care or residential care, whilst formulating Care Plans, Pathway Plans and Child in Need Plans Furthermore, you will also undertake court work, attend court completing Child & Family Assessments, risk assessments, attending Looked After Children Meetings and Child in Need Meetings and also multi-disciplinary meetings. Also the role involves undertaking visits to young people in line with statutory procedures and includes planning and commissioning services support for young people.
With your recognised professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or CQSW) and HCPC registration, you will use your experience to make a significant contribution to the team.
