An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the worlds leading manufacturing business, relative to their industry.

The position of Lead Engineer poses the responsibility to front complex assignments and programmes in support of design and analysis project with the overall duty of ensuring positive end results.

Duties of the role;
- Act as the key point of contact for direct customers throughout projects
- Manage the completion of key projects
- Planning, scheduling, and supervising work orders or an workloads across a number of engineers and technicians
- Actively review the technical specifications of proposed projects
- Recommend alterations to current procedures
- Oversee the accountabilities of the team across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic engineering

Key skills required/previous experience of;
- R&D testing of complex equipment
- Qualification test procedures
- Experience in a manufacturing engineering environment
- Strong leadership skills and strategies
- Good project planning and management experience
- Awareness of common technical manufacturing principles across Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulic engineering

- Ideal candidates will be degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar (electronic/electrical engineering)
