Lab Technician

Science Solutions are looking to a Lab Technician for one of our clients based in the Greater Manchester area.

In order to be considered for the position of Lab Technician you must be degree educated in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a similar field.

As a Lab Technician you will be responsible for routine physical testing of powders on a daily basis. The role will also involve wet chemistry techniques occasionally.

Role requirements

• Degree educated in Chemistry, Chemical engineering or a similar field.
• Previous experience of physical testing from education or industry essential.
• Wet chemistry experience from education or industry highly desirable but not essential.

Role responsibilities

• Perform various physical tests on powders on a daily basis.
• Occasionally use wet chemistry techniques as and when required, training can be provided.
• Offer a hand-on and proactive approach in the lab whilst adhering to health and safety and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe place of work.
