An excellent opportunity for an experienced lab technician to join this rapidly expanding business who supply wines & spirits to the UK retail trade.

This is a Sunday - Thursday 22:00pm - 06:00am role

OUR CLIENT is the leading UK independent bottler of wines and spirits, specialising in producing quality own-label wines to the UK Multiple and Convenience Retail Sectors. The LABORATORY TECHNICIAN will be responsible for:
* Routine analysis of wine and spirit samples involving a variety of methods including manual titrations, distillations, pH measurement and organoleptic assessments.
* Calculation of additions to bulk product.
* Micro-biological testing of wine samples.
* Ensuring packaging meets defined specifications.
* Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
* Quality Control checks on finished product.

The successful candidate should have experience of working in an accredited laboratory within a FMCG environment preferably within the drinks industry and have Microbiologist experience. They would be expected to work as part of a team and unsupervised under their own initiative, work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. They should have good IT skills due to a level of data input.
