An international medical device company currently requires a Laboratory technician to join their team and play an active role in conducting experimental work and assisting with the problem solving of technical product issues. To be considered for this opportunity you will hold a degree level qualification in a Biological science subject and possess strong laboratory skills.
*Conduct experiments in line with departmental requirements
*Ensure SOP's are followed when conducting work within the lab
*Assist in customer complaint resolution
*Plan own workload in line with weekly requirements of the laboratory
*Ensure that accurate records are kept of work undertaken in the labs to enable consistency in process and accurate audit records
*Liaise and communicate with other departments within the business and also external customers as required
*Must work well within a team environment but with the ability to work on own when required
*Ensure equipment within the lab is calibrated and ready for use in line requirements
*Comply with all departmental and applicable company procedures including Health & Safety and GMP
*Participate in PPI (Continuous Improvement) programs as required
*Any others duties/projects as are reasonable and within the skills and ability of the post-holder.
*Degree level or equivalent
*Previous Lab experience
*Must be computer literate
*Excellent organizational skills
*Ability to work on own initiative
Salary £19-20k + Excellent Company benefits
