L&D Consultant for a highly successful recruitment business

My client, a leading tech / digital recruitment business are looking for a Sales Trainer to join their business in order to help develop the next level of recruiters within their business. The company has an excellent reputation, they are consisently ranked on Sunday Times' Best 100 companies to work for and have won numerous awards due to the fantastic service they provide to their clients and candidates. Joining a high-performing training team of 3, this role will take full responsibilty for the induction process in the business as well as deliver ad-hoc training material.

  • Liaise with HR & Operations prior to the induction groups starting to allow smooth on boarding
  • Promote the training program, following best practice
  • Keep track of course scheduling and bookings
  • Identify & report training needs in the business to Team Lead
  • Frequently interact with those in the 0-3 month population after training to help embed the content trained
  • Support other Trainers with larger groups or during their absence
  • Contribute and keep up to date with Yammer (intranet)
  • Phone Coaching
  • Complete weekly snapshot report for Team Lead
  • Uphold training team standards

Experience & skills needed

  • 1-2 years of classroom training & on the job coaching experience in a sales, customer service or recruitment environment OR successful expeirence gained as a recruiter in a commercial recruitment busienss
  • You need to be confident & resilient enough to deliver training courses for the 1st time in front of your manager and a room full of people frequently in your firstfew months
  • They need someone emotionally aware and good enough with people to start integrating and building rapport with their peers quickly
  • It is essential that you are a natural communicator
  • You need to be driven by achieving excellent internal customer feedback results
  • You need to welcome and be open to feedback and identify this as a development opportunity
  • You need to take accountability for your own development, and actively seek out opportunities to develop your own knowledge and skills, as well as developing existing capabilities
