You will struggle to find a more interesting L&D job than this one…
We like to grab people’s attention with bold statements. And we also like to back them up with a compelling story. This is an incredible opportunity and we are looking for the brightest and best in learning and development and capability development to join this great business. We won’t spoil the fun by telling you who they are just yet but needless to say, we think that they are a bit special.
What will you be up to?
This is a role that will be both varied and interesting. You will support clients with a range of projects that could focus on anything from capability framework development to building career pathways, L&D, engagement or change.
The business is on an exciting growth curve. You will focus primarily on providing high quality advice and tactical support so your focus will be on accurately assessing the needs of the client group and applying your experience to support them in the design and delivery of a raft of capability building and change/engagement initiatives.
The emphasis of this role is on project management and delivery and you will be given great clients to partner and support.
Who are we after?
We are looking for someone that has experience of the pharmaceutical, healthcare or biotech industries and can approach these sectors with credibility - you must have had exposure to one of these sectors. Most important is that you are a client facing individual with a structured approach to thinking. You will have great stakeholder engagement skills and will be an effective communicator both in writing and in person.
This will suit someone that has had a strong track record of working within L&D within the pharma or biotech industries and is on an upward trajectory in their career. You will be someone who is naturally inquisitive that can demonstrate a passion for their own self-directed learning. We want someone who is able to speak with passion and knowledge about L&D.
Project management skills are essential to this role. You don’t need a formal PM qualification but you must be organised as you will be managing the delivery for various client groups. The split between design and delivery work will be 50/50.
We want someone who is ambitious but who also focuses on the people around them. This is a business with very strong values and they don’t want people to burn out. You will work hard but you will also be supported by those working alongside you.
Why you should want to work here…
It always helps to have a great boss and in this job you certainly will. The hiring manager is a really good egg. We would work for her!
This is a business that is taking great strides forward where you will work with some exceptionally talented colleagues that love what they do. This passion is infectious and they want to surround themselves with like-minded individuals. You will get freedom and autonomy and a role that is far broader in scope than you might find in most other businesses. You will not be doing the same thing over and over again. You will be encouraged to run with ideas, challenging how things are done in a positive and constructive manner and if you are someone that is eager to continue learning then this is the right place for you.
It is our job to make a role sound good but this opportunity is not a tough sell. If you meet with this client we fail to see why you would not want to work for them.
