My Central London based client that bridges professional and financial services is recruiting a Learning and Development Advisor to join them on a permanent basis with a salary on offer of £28,000-£35,000.
What does the role entail?
Your role as Learning and Development Advisor/Administrator will be a varied one, you will support the Chief of Staff with implementing the development pathway for the business. You will also own the professional studies process liaising with training providers and staying on top of the student learning cycles so deadlines are not missed. You will also take on the graduate scheme implemented last year managing the university relationships as well as evolving and developing the programme. Another responsibility of this L&D role will be to look after and administer the mentoring and coaching programme, ensuring all staff have a mentor and where needed reassigning them to a better suited partner or someone new should there be a leaver. This is just a snapshot of your role and there will be a variety of other tasks and duties too.
What skills will make you a success in this role?
You will ideally have started your CIPD qualification but will definitely have similar experience gained in a Learning and Development role similar to that outlined above. You will be the type of person that can manage the priorities of at times a heavy workload, who possess great attention to detail and an analytical approach to their work. To be a success in this L&D role you will be compassionate but also a master at engagement, a team player and to fit in with this organisation someone who always wants to progress and learn.
What is on offer?
On offer for this exciting L&D Advisor position working in central London is the chance to work within a small, fun, supportive and friendly HR team and that all enjoy a laugh. As well as this being a great opportunity a competitive salary of £28,000-£35,000 is on offer too (with a tiny amount of flexibility for someone outstanding). On top of a great basic you can expect great career development, a discretionary bonus, generous holiday entitlement, regular table tennis tournaments in their swanky new lunch room, regular socials including Christmas and Summer parties and sponsorship through your CIPD too. Working hours are 9-5.30 but again there is a small amount of flexibility that could be offered to ease for instance child pick up times.
