A secondary school in Derby are looking for a KS3/KS4 History Teacher to join the team

This large secondary school is rapidly improving and located in Inner City Derby. The school is easily accessible and has an excellent reputation for developing staff and their careers. Initially this role will be temporary until the end of the academic year but with good performance you will have the opportunity to go permanent in September.
Your new role
Joining the Humanities department, you will be responsible for teaching History through to KS4. You will plan and prepare for all lessons, as well as mark and assess pupils work, ensuring you are differentiating when planning to suit all abilities. This role is full time and will commence on the 26th February. You will be required to attend parent's evenings and other school functions.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4. You must have a proven ability to guide pupils to achieving a GCSE qualification in History. In addition, you must possess strong behaviour management skills and be flexible and dynamic in your approach.
