The school has a happy and committed staff team who work hard to bring about good outcomes for the children in all areas of their development.
The school has moved forward rapidly over the past two years, and underwent a successful Ofsted inspection in February 2015, which judged the school to be ‘Good’ in all areas. Inspectors found that “pupils are polite and behave well”, there is a “caring and nurturing atmosphere”, and the revised curriculum has led to significant increases in interest and motivation.
They have a happy and friendly staff team, and there is a real buzz about creating the best possible outcomes for their children. Through the ‘expert curriculum’, they create exciting learning experiences for children, and enrich the provision through brass lessons for all children in Year 4 and 5, Forest School, after-school clubs, theatre visits and performances, and lots, lots more.
They are currently seeking to appoint a class teacher for September 2018. This post would be particularly suitable for an NQT, for whom full support would be provided. As they currently have a teacher on maternity leave, we may be able to offer a start at Easter 2018 for the right candidate. All staff are well supported to develop their own practice and career aspirations.
