A North-East Birmingham based Primary school are looking for a knowledgeable and committed member of staff to join their KS2 department.
This role is to replace a member of staff who has moved on into retirement and the school are now looking to continue with the success they have seen and bring a new member of staff into the fold who can continue to push standards forward.
You'll be required to teach in KS2 starting September 2018 until the end of academic year on a full-time basis.
As a forward-thinking Academy, they are looking to appoint a candidate who is resourceful and creative in their lesson plans in order to engage pupils and to encourage them to enjoy their learning. The high standard of teaching and well-planned lessons have a high impact on pupil progress and the raising of attainment. The Academy set high expectations for pupils' progress throughout Key Stage 2 which shows to be achieving well, the Academy is keen to maintain these standards and are looking to find the right candidate who is willing to exceed these standards.
You will be based in North-East Birmingham, located 30 minutes away from the City Centre. The Academy is 2 form entry and is part of a Multi academy trust.
You will need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (NQT Applications also accepted)
* Experience in working in a primary school setting within the last 2 year is desirable
* Be flexible and adaptable to situations that may occur within the role
