KS2 Teacher and Subject lead

Location: Barnet - Finchley

Salary: M1 - UPS

Job type: Long-term, temporary

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm

Start date: September 2025

End date: July 2026

Year group: KS2 Teacher and Subject lead (subject to be confirmed)

Tradewind are looking to appoint a class teacher with subject leadership at a 3 form entry school.

This London based primary school are looking to appoint a strong Teacher to join their team to teach in KS2 and lead a subject alongside this. This will involve class teacher responsibilities and leading the planning and teaching of a topic subject such as PSHE, RE, History/Geography or Art.

About the role:

  • Lead a subject in KS2
  • Monitor student achievement
  • Support pupils with SEN needs meet learning outcomes
  • Implement effective and appropriate behaviour management strategies
  • Work alongside the senior management team
  • Understand and implement the school improvement plan
  • Attend weekly staff meetings

Requirements:

  • Must have UK recognised QTS
  • Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience in the UK within the last 2 years
  • Must be available full-time and long-term from September
