KS2 Intervention Teacher needed for a Primary School in Oxfordshire.

Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher who wants a different role to full class teaching? Could you use your knowledge and skills to drive pupil attainment? If so, this could be the job for you!

Monarch Education are currently working with an Outstanding school in Oxford who are looking to appoint an experienced Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to deliver interventions/small group tuition. The role will involve planning with class teachers to ensure pupils are accessing the full curriculum and providing additional support to accelerate their learning. The successful candidate will need to be a good communicator and have previous experience with a good track record where they can evidence bridging attainment gaps and boosting pupil's confidence and attainment. The successful teacher will be organised and good at keeping files/paperwork.

You will work with pupils on a one to one and small group basis outside of the classroom, there will also be a small amount of full class cover when needed. The successful teacher will be attached to one particular year group with PPA time to assess pupil progress. This is an ideal role for any teacher looking to step away from full class teaching.
The School is a large community Primary School located in Banbury. Recently graded as 'Outstanding' by OFSTED, they are able to provide; well-behaved, friendly pupils and a welcoming and highly skilled staff team.
