KS2 Class Teacher

Posted 16 February by Harris Federation Featured Ended

With our first Year 6 classes in September 2018, we are looking for a KS2 teacher, ideally with experience in Year 6, to join our school.

You will have responsibility for leading and managing a rich educational experience for your class. You will work alongside your year group partner to assess, plan and carefully orchestrate with your teaching assistant, the best provision possible resulting in all children making accelerated progress and reaching at least national standards.

Harris Primary Free School Peckham opened in 2012 to meet the demand for high quality primary school places in Southwark. We now have two classes in every year group from year R to Year 5, with Year 6 starting in September 2018. By growing slowly but steadily, we are able to give every one of our children a great deal of personal attention. We have a superb team of teachers and support staff, all of whom are experts in primary education.

What we are looking for:

  • QTS (or equivalent)
  • An excellent teacher with a proven record of raising standards in reading and writing.
  • A teacher who can accelerate progress and at least reach national standards.
  • Someone who shares our passion, commitment, drive, enthusiasm, and hardworking ethos.
