The KS1 department is regarded highly throughout the local area for having some of the best KS1 leadership. The school have high expectations for pupils in both their work and behaviour which has been recognised by OFSTED. Your new role
You will be responsible for teaching a class of 25 Year 2 students with the support of a KS1 Teaching Assistant This role is to start in January through till the end of the academic year however could become permanent for the right candidate at the end of the contract.
What you'll need to succeed
The school are looking for someone who has experience teaching in KS1 and within Year 2 would be beneficial however not essential. It would also be beneficial to have had previous experience of Year 2 SAT's. Been outstanding practitioner with the ability to inspire and drive children to achieving their goals. You must hold QTS and have reference able teaching experience within the last 5 years.
