KS1 Teacher - Phonics Experience
Phonics Primary Teacher / Phonics Teaching Assistant - Key Stage 1
Celsian are recruiting a hard working and effective phonics Teacher or teaching assistant to join a busy Leicester City primary school, this is a full time or part time position for a minimum of 1 term starting asap. The post requires the teacher or Teaching assistant to provide phonic support in Key stage 1 most mornings and support across the school in the afternoons where it is require.
This is a good opportunity for an effective Primary Teacher or Teaching assistant with experience of KS1 who would like to join a "good" school with a friendly and supportive staff team.
The ideal candidate should:
Have experience of the read, write inc phonics scheme
Be able to engage children in lessons that are stimulating
Have a positive impact on pupil progress and be effective at raising attainment
Plan stimulating and creative lessons
Be familiar with using smart boards and other IT facilities as an aid to learning
Have excellent classroom management
