The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) is the membership body for family doctors in the UK and abroad. With a membership of over 53,000, the RCGP is the largest medical royal college. Our remit is to uphold standards, act as the voice of general practice nationally and locally, and to provide high quality services to our members.

RCGP Enterprises is the commercial arm of the College. We're in an exciting phase of our development and are enjoying significant growth. We've introduced a wide range of professional consultancy and training services to help shape the future of general practice.

This role will be integral in building new processes and managing operations to successfully deliver activity including International GP Recruitment and the RCGP venture with Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership.

This is a highly complex and fast changing workload and the post-holder will have the ability to build successful relationships with internal and external stakeholder groups quickly and effectively. Tasked with developing a business process for the successful delivery of the International GP Recruitment Programme, you will have an eye for detail and the ability to recognise and manage risk.

This role will be key in transferring knowledge of College initiatives and programmes into the strategic programme of work with Greater Manchester HSCP. Your successful delivery will see the sharing of best practice across the College and wider primary care stakeholders, shaping the future of GP. This is an externally focussed role and the ability to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders quickly is essential.

Working closely with the Assistant Director Enterprises and the National Relationship Manager, our ideal candidate will have the skill, drive and ability to manage multiple tasks across the two programmes of work, as well as the confidence to communicate with and influence senior external stakeholders.

Experience of working within the primary care sector is desirable.

The successful candidate will share our corporate values. In return, the College offers excellent terms and conditions.
