An exciting opportunity to join a global healthcare giant based from their stunning offices near Reading has arisen for a talented specialist in web-based social collaboration tools and knowledge-sharing platforms.
As the Knowledge Management Specialist reporting to our Talent Management / Learning & Development Manager, you’ll work closely with the HR function and will partner with the leaders of Centres of Expertise, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Payroll and Total Rewards
You’ll have a varied range of responsibilities, amongst which will be:
advising on the most appropriate knowledge-sharing platforms that can be used internally, across multiple countries
promoting knowledge management across the HR function
designing effective methods to ensure stakeholders are aware of how to access the information they need
developing processes to ensure online materials are maintained, with latest versions available and creating a system to facilitate this process.
Excellent knowledge of SharePoint (or any other web-based HR system) and MS Office
You must have a strong understanding of web-based social collaboration tools and knowledge-sharing platforms, underpinned by the ability to manage knowledge databases online.
A confident, resilient all-round communicator, you’re able to engage stakeholders to ensure buy-in to new ways of working. With an in-depth understanding of web-based technologies and experience of managing intranets or social collaboration tools such as Jive or SharePoint, you’re highly customer-focused, with the ability to build relationships as all levels.
