Knowledge Exchange and Senior Coordinator
The Research & Knowledge Transfer (R&KT) Office wishes to recruit a KE Senior Coordinator to work in a busy office on the Chester campus.
This role will look to increase the engagement of the University with the business community by enhancing the University’s portfolio of knowledge exchange (KE) activity, with a particular focus on developing internal relationships and proposals with a longer term view to increasing engagement with Innovate UK’s Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Scheme
You will establish key working relationships with University academics, within departments and faculties, and the business community leading to an increase in KT/KE activity, focussing in the longer term on engagement with Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs). An understanding of the UK Knowledge Exchange funding environment is therefore essential.
Experience of fostering internal working relationships within a HE environment and Experience of KTP, or similar KE programmes would also be an advantage.
You will be educated to degree level standard (or equivalent qualification) and have substantial experience of developing KE applications, or other funding bids. You will have experience of managing and reporting on projects in addition to delivering to deadlines. The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team is also essential to this post.
You will have an ECDL or equivalent IT qualification or be willing to work towards it. In addition, the role will require excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and a high level of computer literacy.
