Knowledge and Information Management Assistant

This leading Scottish Public sector organisation is looking for a knowledge and information management assistant to work in the records department on a fixed term contract of 9 months with an immediate start in their central Edinburgh premises.

You will be working with internal and external users to help with knowledge and information management and duties include:
  • Contributing to the organisation's intranet
  • Process and respond to Freedom of Information and Data Protection requests
  • Ensure Data Protection policies are implemented and followed
  • Answer queries on Knowledge and Information Management
  • Help in training on best practice in records management
  • Help with Information and knowledge Management processes including file naming standards, information audits and knowledge management initiatives
What you will bring

You will be available to start immediately and have proven experience in Knowledge and Information Management. It would be helpful to have dealt with Freedom of Information and Data Protection requests. Experience of using data management within an intranet or external website would be useful. You will also need to pass a Disclosure Scotland check.
