Monarch Education are seeking a One to One support for a Child with significant attachment needs. This Child is a Looked After Child who attends an alternative provision 2 days a week (Thursday and Friday) As such, this post could be flexible and Monday - Wednesday only for the right candidate. Full time position would be beneficial as the other 2 days a week this person would deliver pastoral interventions. Someone with experience of working in a welfare post would be advantageous and experience or training on attachment also an advantage. Training and support will be provided.
The school is looking for somebody who will have a confident approach and will be committed to the pupil's progress. The right candidate will be motivational and respond to the needs of the pupils whilst ensuring they learn, are engaged and motivated. The successful applicant will have patience and experience using positive behaviour management to motivate and focus pupils.
This role is a great opportunity to work in a supportive, efficient, welcoming team. The school is a Mainstream Primary School where the school atmosphere is warm and welcoming. They have a growing SEN Team who are all passionate about their roles and the pupils that they support within the school.
