Kitchen staff Required
Bar 56 in Wokingham has become more and more busy, leaving us needing a full time member of staff in the kitchen.
All training will be given, working under the head chef.
It is a small kitchen with only two members of the team working at any one point.
Being a small team, the successful candidate must have the ability to act fast and enjoy working closely with one other person, to learn the menu and reproduce the dishes as to spec exactly.
The bar itself is a small wine bar with a mission to take the pretentiousness away from fine wine. The floor team are relatively young, therefore making this a very fun environment to work in.
The Menu is based around fine meat and cheeses, during the day serving great salads and panini. Quality of presentation is everything to these dishes, so an artistic eye is essential.
Competitive pay and tips, shared from the floor staff, means this is a great opportunity for a budding chef to get a commercial kitchen experience, learning systems and EHO standards.
