We are currently looking for a Kitchen Manager to join an already great team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have experience of leading and developing his kitchen team with a firm grasp on their financial and a commercial awareness of the industry in which they operate. It would a great role for an established Sous Chef looking to pursue a more managerial position.
You will be working within brand guidelines to create great quality food within food costs and budgets. Passion, creation and innovation are key to this role ensuring you meet customers needs. You will manage a kitchen team and be responsible for all health and safety and hygiene regulations, training and developing staff and in control of all health and safety aspects of the kitchen.
Ideally you will be from a branded background. Motivation and passion are essential in this role to keep up the high standards and service levels. You must have previous experience with financial targets and all the paperwork that comes from being a chef.
