Kitchen Fitter - London and South East
We are working on some of the most prestigious residential construction projects in London as well as numerous housebuilding projects throughout the Home Counties.
We are looking to recruit a team of experienced, reliable kitchen fitters on a permanent basis to install our kitchens to the highest possible standard thus avoiding costly magic repairs and ensuring we gain customer signatures promptly on Satisfaction Notes. The type of person suitable for this role will be looking for a security and the sense of belonging that comes from being employed by a caring employer that is passionate about providing first class quality kitchen installations at all times.
Key Accountabilities of Kitchen Fitter:
Kitchen Fitter to gain customer signatures promptly on SAT Notes/White Cards and forward, so that we can claim monies due from its customers.
Kitchen Fitter to follow current plot programmes at all times, and report any issues as to why kitchens cannot be fitted, provide photographic evidence of plots and damage to kitchens that might occur
Kitchen Fitter to follow all the stages in the Company fitting guidance, including pre-start risk assessments, plot checks, installations, health & safety and customer liaison.
Kitchen Fitter to Install kitchen furniture and appliances in accordance with fitting guidelines using the correct tools and fixings, in both unoccupied and occupied homes. Kitchens must be protected after fitting has taken place, to avoid damage to the finished product
Kitchen Fitter to comply at all times with Company and site health and safety standards including wearing 5 point PPE and additional task specific PPE, so that we stay below upper limits of our safety targets. Be aware of ours & clients’ sustainability expectations for timber products, and re-utilisation of materials
Kitchen Fitter to comply with site waste standards, and dispose of packaging waste in the correct manner, adhering to expected environmental standards.
Kitchen Fitter to complete post installation fitting reports to confirm completion of installation or additional materials and works required to complete
Kitchen Fitter to operate in line with our contracts, while managing customers’ expectations so that our fitting hits the targeted profit margin.
Kitchen Fitter to maintain and secure company supplied materials and equipment to prevent deterioration or theft.
Competencies Required for Kitchen Fitter Role:
Good communication skills
Attentional to detail
CSCS card and NVQ or Apprenticeship level trained essential
Part P registered for the Installation of Electrical Appliances desirable
Min. 5 years’ proven experience in the installation of kitchens with references to cover at least that period
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 plus £5,000 Area Weighting plus VAN, 22 days paid holiday plus BH & Pension
