A primary school in the Tottenham area of Haringey, London are seeking a Key Stage 2 Teacher, to start as soon as possible, with competitive salary available in line with experience (MPS 1-6 Inner London - £28,660-£39,006, with TLR3 available for the right candidate).
The school is a Haringey Council Community School, with children aged from 2 to 11, situated in Tottenham. Most of the school's families live locally to the school, many in the White Hart Lane Ward, and the school is two form entry from Reception to Year 6. It is a successful school, attaining Ofsted Good in October 2016, and the results in 2016/2017 put the school in the Times Top 10 performing schools in Haringey. The school also has a newly established 'STEAM Engine' which is a dedicated classroom for Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Art & Design work. This resource is equipped with the highest technologies to enable children to experience exciting practical learning.
The responsibilities for this Key Stage 2 Teacher role will include:
*Teach a class of pupils and ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs.
*Plan appropriately to meet the needs of all pupils, through differentiation of tasks.
*Work with school leaders to track the progress of individual children and intervene where pupils are not making progress
*Be able to set clear targets, based on prior attainment, for pupils' learning
