This school are currently looking for a key stage 1 teacher to join their team of teachers on a part time basis to start in September 2018. The position is for 3 days per week paying a salary in line with UPS-MPS.
The school has 2 forms of entry from year 1 to year 6. They are a happy school part of a larger multi academy trust with children that are eager to learn. The Headteacher has high expectations and high standards, valuing perseverance, hard work and a positive attitude from both staff and students. This is a community based school, with a family atmosphere. It is a school where every child is known as an individual and where the Governing Body, PTA and hugely supportive parent body play a central role in helping to achieve outstanding education.
The school is located near Bromley, with excellent bus and train links from Croydon, South East London and Kent. There is also a large staff car park for teachers who wish to drive in.
The Headteacher is keen to recruit a part-time key stage 1 teacher to join the team from September 2018.
The part time key stage 1 teacher must:
*Have full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications)
*Be available 3 days per week
*Have experience teaching in key stage 1
*Have high expectations of themselves and learners
*Strong communication and behaviour management skills
*Have good knowledge and understanding of the curriculum
*Be competent using IT
*Be well organised
*Engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
