Position: Key stage 1 supply teacher

Pay: £120 - £150 per day

The role:

Working on a supply basis enables you to work the days that suit you and also experience different schools on a short term basis. If you are a qualified teacher who is looking to find flexible work starting from September then this could be the right position for you. Athona Education Ltd work with a large number of primary schools in North London and are looking for experienced supply teachers to fulfil exceptional demand.

To work as a qualified supply teacher, schools will require experience and qualifications that relate to your specialist subject. The schools we work with are looking for early years teachers.

Supply positions will be available from September with the potential to become longer term for the right candidate if that is something you would like to progress in to.

The successful applicant is expected to:

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Recent experience of teaching key stage 1 to the highest standard
  • An understanding of the UK curriculum and knowledge of any current issues and developments within it.
  • Deliver fun and engaging lessons that also challenge and develop learning.
  • Be committed to the schools objectives and teach in line with their ethos.
