The Role:

Reporting to the Client Director, the Key Account Manager will be tasked and targeted on specific areas of implementing the Go-To-Market strategy. Working alongside the delivery team your focus will be on building and nurturing relationships with channel partners and distributors maximising our clients potential and presence within the UK market. Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role is essential along with demonstrable relationship building experience. A background of working with or alongside the retail industry is desirable.

Dealing with senior decision makers mainly at Buyer level, you will be confident and skilled presenter and negotiator. An outstanding networker you will have an excellent eye for identifying and creating opportunities in existing clients and closing purchase orders.

With full P&L responsibility, you will have the support and backup of a highly dedicated, effective and company-focused team who will support you in all area's to ensure that you have all the support and tools necessary to succeed. Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales in line with company month, quarterly and annual targets;

  • Achieve the company’s margin expectations;

  • Outreach to Key Target accounts, both existing and new opportunities;

  • Relationship building with key members of our target customers teams as well as working closely with distributors to manage their partner outreach;

  • Prepare joint business plans with customers to ensure sales are maximised;

  • Have the ability to work within P&L sales and account management portfolios;

  • Have experience in managing a variety of price books and commercial structures;

  • Organise your workflow efficiently and in line with Bridgehead expectations;

  • Attend meetings with clients as required and feedback progress;

  • Report writing and client led tasks;

  • Networking and lead generation;

Skills and Interests:
  • Have a demonstrable track record of over achieving in a fast paced sales environment;

  • Excellent Communication skills - over the phone, via emails, and in person.

  • Understand your customers, becoming an expert in how they operate;

  • Be strategic - understand the long term plans for both our clients and customers and ensure they are aligned with the company targets and KPI’s;.

  • Ability to maintain records in the CRM and build a sales pipeline;

  • Have the ability to negotiate and create win win solutions;

  • Excellent organisational skills and proven experience;

  • Articulate and professional manner;

  • Proven ability in being responsible and accountable for your number;

  • Excellent written communication skills;

  • Keen eye for attention to detail;

  • High level of computer proficiency and demonstrable working knowledge of CRM, Project Management and key software;

  • High level of understanding for financials, sales figures and forecasts;

Hours and Environment:
  • 8.30am to 5pm are standard working hours, however flexi time management is available; Hours to Suit both parties;

  • Flexibility to work from home and/or the office;

  • Equipment will be provided to support the working environment;

Salary/Package
  • Basic salary will be Negotiable for the right candidates;

  • OTE will be £40k plus;

  • Open ended commissions;

  • Pension;

  • 25 days holiday;
