We have a fabulous opportunity for a Customer Service Assistant to join us, with ownership for delivering an exemplary customer experience for our clients. You will be the first point of contact for our clients and will own the relationship and all communication and transactions. Your role is to ensure positive relationships are consistently achieved and be the expert and owner of client requests, queries and feedback.
What we need from you:
You will need to be confident in written and oral communication - to be able to converse professionally with clients at all levels and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. We want you to build relationships quickly with your clients as well as internally with field managers and teams.
You will be organised and self-managing with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise. Your workload and what you are doing will vary with the seasons so it is important you are able to work under pressure when the need arises.
We need you to be pernickety about attention to detail, accuracy and quality whilst achieving tight deadlines.
You will need to be adaptable and be able to handle varying data streams.You will receive large volumes of emails and calls on a daily basis, are expected to manage the invoicing process, reconcile large spreadsheets and attend client meetings. Some of the tasks are repetitive but no two days will be the same!
We need you to be able to use your initiative and be assertive when necessary. You are your clients representative within the business and it is important you make good decisions on their behalf.
We need you to pitch in with the rest of your team and potentially other business areas to support when necessary due to absence and workload fluctuations.
We need you to be open to learning and able to learn new systems and processes quickly. We will show you how to use our in house system, Ice2 as well as Outlook and Excel if necessary and other online systems. We will also teach you a bit about the grounds maintenance industry - we don’t expect you to have any prior experience but it is important that over time you build this up so you can converse confidently and support our managers in quoting and organising works.
