Our client is an award winning financial services business. Operating on a nationwide basis, they have been incredibly successful as a broker and provider within the lending arena and as part of their ongoing development are seeking a key account manager.
This role has been created to improve the relationship and therefore the operational performance of the firm’s third parties, including lenders, providers and solicitors. Whilst the company do have case handlers in place, it has been identified that an individual whose sole focus is on managing relationships and developing stronger ties is business critical. This is therefore an important new role.
Alongside maximising relationships and ultimately improving income streams with existing accounts, it is also expected that the successful incumbent will be able to develop new clients and sources of business.
This position does have a specific income target in place and therefore applicants need to have previously worked in a sales role within the intermediary sphere. Given the importance and newness of the role candidates will also need to have a significant background within mortgages/lending/equity release in order to be considered.
Alongside an income target the aim of the position is to improve efficiencies (speed of processing/speed of completion), file quality and SLAs. Again those with experience in this field will be at an advantage.
The role is based from Lancashire and this hire will be in the office 2-3 days each week and out seeing clients 2-3 days each week. This is a UK based role so will entail extensive travel.
On offer is a competitive salary, bonus (c£10,000 per annum) and the opportunity to be the first hire into such a role. Given the firm’s plans there will be advancement for development because of this.
