One of the leading multidiscipline recruitment agencies with offices across the UK and an international presence too, have an immediate need for an experienced consultant looking to move towards account management and more client facing exposure. The business has a strong reputation in the security and defence sector and is looking to increase the size of the team in line with their growth plans.

Based within the highly successful Public Sector Defence team, the client is looking for a client focussed recruiter to come in as a Relationship Manager / BD person. You will be responsible for the development of increased revenue streams from existing clients and promoting the services on offer to potential clients. With an excellent reputation for placing mid to senior level permanent and contract / interim roles UK wide, my client wish to build on this success to date. The role is to build better relationships and a steadier flow of work from existing clients, plus open doors elsewhere through a positive client facing presence. You will be out and about meeting clients on a daily basis so relationship management across multiple accounts will be your strongest asset. You will filter the work back through to the team in the office who will then provide the delivery of candidates for both perm and contract positions.

The role will suit an experienced recruiter who enjoys the business development element of the job, or a current BD person in recruitment who needs a new challenge. You will come from a background in IT / Defense / Security Cleared recruitment. Permanent and contract desk experience will both be looked at however it's the ability to demonstrate a track record in BD or solid recruitment billings is imperative. This will also suit someone who may have an interest in the government / defence / security markets too as the work is highly specialised and of a technical nature.

Salary is dependent on experience and track record of success, with an approximate basic of 28k - 33k and an ote 45k - 50k. A higher basic package is available for exceptional candidates.
